All Patient's Records and Information is completely confidential.
The discretion rules set in place in Boyle Clinic are in connection with the
Medical Council guidelines, the Data Protection Acts and the ICGP Guide to Data
Protection Legislation for Irish General Practice.
Patients Information
If you wish to move to another practice we will make a copy of your records available to your new doctor. This can only be completed upon receipt of a signed consent form from you and your new doctor.
We ask you as a patient to keep us up to date on personal details and information you deem relevant for the Doctor to be aware of.
Any letters received into the practice are viewed by the Doctor and then scanned into your file. Such Procedure is also carried out by any events requested by the Patient, such as ordering a repeat prescription or social welfare certs.
